After just a few days rehearsal, LAW OF THREE arrived at The Marrs Bar on Thursday 20th July, ready to do their first proper gig.
The nerves were made worse by the fact that this was also to be multi camera filmed and multi track recorded...no pressure then!

But despite the first gig nerves, under rehearsal of the material and various technical problems, this album captures something quite special, the birth of a band.

We hope you enjoy the journey.

Very soon we will be releasing our debut album, which will be available as a CD as well as digitally. We offer you this release for free, but if you want to make a donation towards the release of this album that would be greatly appreciated.

Adikalyāṇaṁ majjhekalyāṇaṁ pariyosānakalyāṇaṁ means "Beautiful in the beginning beautiful in the middle beautiful in the end". Ultimately it fell upon Jack to carry this work which Jack does magnificently with such fluidity. Maybe my ears deceive me but I hear a little '3rd' tribute in Jack's second bar of notes. Spirit At Play is an instant union for me. My 5th listen in a day (on bus, at street protest, on bus, after swim, now). A stunning elevated work transcending its homages. Cattāro sādhū! Nicky

I have no doubt that come the end of 2018 this will be in MANY people's best of lists. An extraordinary album that weaves something unique out of a musical tapestry that includes Zappa/It Bites/Gentle Giant/Vai/Genesis/Keneally and a whole lot more. Complex without being overly twiddly, hummable even when switching time signature and key every bar (!!) You need to hear this. Steve Lawson
